Visiting Ebony

Ivystar looked over at her deputy, Ottersplash. "Want to come visit Ebony with me?" she asked. "I wanted to go tell her the news, about the other clans." she said, a saddened face appearing.

"Oh... I don't think I can," Otterspark sighed.

Ivystar put her nose on her closest friend's head sympathetically. "Yes, you can, Ottersplash. Your the best warrior I know. You've always been loyal to me." she said, calmly. "Besides, I bet Ebony would love to see you." she said, smiling.

Otterspark sighed, turning her head.
"Alright, Ivystar," she meowed in response, finally.

Ivystar nodded. "Alright. I'll have Featherstep and Reedclaw watch the camp while we're away." she said. "I'll go tell them, then let's eat before we leave." she said, quickly padding off to go tell the two senior warriors.

"Do you think we should also bring Smokecloud?" Otterspark asked, stopping Ivystar before she went.

Ivystar nodded. "We can. Why not bring Hollyheart as well? She hasn't been to Fourtrees for awhile." she said, smiling.

"Alright," Otterspark meowed. "I'll go get them."

Ivystar nodded. "Alright." she said. She picked 4 small fish, so they could all eat before they left. Ivystar wasn't very excited to go, Seeing that last time they went she had lost her 4th life to rats. She only had 5 lives left, and she'd use them wisely.

Otterspark walked softly into the warrior den, her gaze filled with warmth. She turned and saw Smokecloud, and gave small purr.
"Smokecloud!" she whispered softly to her son.

As Smokecloud arose from his soft nest, he let out a purr to Otterspark. "Hi, Otterspark," he greeted, shaking all the stuff off his pelt. "What do you want?"

"We're going to fourtrees to meet up with Ebony," she answered, turning to Hollyheart, curled up in a nest. "Hollyheart! Wake up!"

Hollyheart was stirring when Otterspark came. "Whaa..?" she said, sleepily. She shot up when she first heard Otterspark say that they were going to go visit Ebony. "Let's go!" she said, zipping out of the warriors den, grabbing one of the fish Ivystar had in her mouth, which knocked the poor leader over, and all the fish to go flying. "Hollyheart!" Ivystar yowled. Hollyheart ran while she ate, meantwhile Ivystar was getting the snack to everyone.

Smokecloud and Otterspark walked out and started to eat.

Hollyheart waited at the camp's entrance. Ivystar quickly finished her meal. "I'm ready." she said.

"I am too," Otterspark meowed, getting up from her meal and nodding.

"I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be," Smokecloud sighed, laughing as he stood next to Otterspark.

Ivystar nodded. She led the patrol out towards Fourtrees.

Once they got there, Hollyheart ran around in circles. Ebony poked her head out of her den. "Whats go- Ivystar!? Otterspark? It's been forever!" Ebony's eyes lit up as she raced over to her friends.

"Hello, Ebony!" Otterspark smiled, dipping her head in gratitude.
She flicked her tail towards Smokecloud. "This is my son, Ebony," she meowed. "I beleive that the only time you two met was when he was a kit."
Smokecloud dipped his head, barely remembering the cat. "Hello," he greeted.

Ebony nodded. "Oh yes! Boy has he grown!" She excitedly said. "I've had a new arrival myself." she mewed. "But sadly, he didn't live," she then replied sadly.
Ivystar looked at Ebony. "How are you doing?" she asked, sweetly.
