Thoughts of horror

Hollymint walked out of her den. Ever since the rouges, the worst thing ever. So many dead cats, few lived. She wish it would end. The dark forest overthrew all but Riverclan. Oh how she wished it was normal. Nothing was right anymore. She missed her half sister, Ebony. She missed her so much. Her only family left, Ebony and Clovestar. Her apprentice, Mintpaw, dead.

Cloverstar walked out of her den. She shivered. "Hollymint! Do you want me to escort you to look for herbs? I might as well go hunting." She suggested.

Hollymint nodded. "That'd be great." she replied, her eyes full of grief. "I miss Mintpaw." she sighed. She would have to get over it. She knew who her next apprentice would be, Stonekit. He was just so interested in the herbs. Well, he'd be ready soon. "Let's go," she said. "Before I get to caught up in emotion." she concluded.

ooc: Let's say Clovestar get's attacked by a baby fox while they're out. xD

OOC: Sure, and it's Cloverstar, not Clovestar.

IC:"You have to get over Mintpaw, Hollymint. There will be a time when you have another apprentice. Maybe you can visit Mintpaw in StarClan?" Cloverstar suggested. "Common. Let's go before all the prey runs to their dens." She walked out of the camp through the tunnel.

Hollymint sighed. "I know..." she spoke. "Well, alright. I need more Water Mint, Poppyseeds, Coltsfoot, and Burdock Root. I found a good supply of Cobwebs, so I'm fine on those." she mewed. "Come to think of it, I do need some more Goldenrod." she said. "Let's go." she concluded, heading towards the entrance.

Cloverstar walked through the tunnel. "Are you sure you'll be okay?" She asked. "We could find some rogues to join the clan, maybe. We have to consult StarClan."

Hollymint nodded. "Yeah. It will take abit for the wounds to heal, though." she mewed. by wounds, she meant the wounds of emotion. But, it wouldn't take long. She'd have a new apprentice, and then she wouldn't have to worry.

Cloverstar stopped. "How about you go collect herbs while I hunt? If there's a problem, come find me, or I'll find you." She meowed.

Hollymint nodded. "Alright. Sounds good." she mewed. She then noticed a good supply of water mint. It was her lucky day. There was tons of it! She quickly got alot of the plants, and looked around. "Hmm..." she mewed, "If I were poppy seeds, where would I be?" she mewed, puzzled.

Cloverstar went off hunting. She had only seen a mouse, when she heard a deep growl behind her. She turned slowly, and looked up. A baby fox!

Hollymint scented the air. She smelt fox, in Clovestar's direction. Oh no! "CLOVESTAR!" she yowled. Racing as fast as she could to her leader. "FOX!" she shouted, seeing the creature.

"Hollymint! Leave! Go to camp! I've got this handled!" She yelled and turned towards the fox. She raked at its muzzle, and clawed up a tree. She landed on top of it and bit its neck. "Hollymint! I've got this covered!"

Hollymint shook her head. "I can't risk the fact that you might loose a life." she mewed. Charging at the fox, and quickly raking at it's muzzle.

"Just, go! If you leave, and I lose a life, then I can come to you for medicine! If you die, and I still lose a life, there won't be any medicine cat, and Mintpaw can't train!" Cloverstar meowed, annoyed.

Hollymint shook her head. "No!" she yowled, Her claws nearly slicing the Fox's head off.

Cloverstar scratched the fox's belly as hard as possible, and didn't reply to Hollymint's meow. At the last minute, she saw the fox rear up, and drag its claws down her belly. She whimpered, "Hollymint... Leave." And fell to the ground, unconscious, in a pool of blood. She didn't even feel the pain of the fox that was slicing her back.
